Ethan and Ella

Ethan loves his little sister. In the last few weeks he ask to hold her more and to kiss her. He is so helpful to me. I adore them and can not wait to see what God has in store for both of their lives. We have our crazy days but are settling into a new routine with Ella here. We are so excited for Christmas. I think Ethan is going to have a blast on Christmas morning.

Despite Ethan loving his sister he sometimes "forgets" she is RIGHT there. Here is a little look into our life.....

Ella

Ella is growing so FAST. It seems even faster then with Ethan. We had a sick visit to the doctor this week and she was 10 lbs 15 oz!!! At her two month check up she was 10 lb 5 oz (20th%) and 24 1/2 in long (90th%). She loves to watch her brother play and has most recently discovered her hands and ears. It is so sweet to watch her observe and take everything in. You gotta love those chubby cheeks.

The Faces of Ethan

Ethan cracks me up with his scrunched up nose. As of lately he loves to take care of his animals. He feeds them, burps them, plays with them, puts them to sleep and loves them. Its very sweet and cute to watch him take care of all of his animals.

Ethan has a case of croup which has landed him on prednizone. This medicine makes him a little loopy and a bit crazy. He was being too funny running around and falling down. Only two more days and we can get off the medicine. What a cute little boy!!!

Chex Mix

Last Saturday we all headed to Moms for our annual chex mix making day. We baked for about 9 hours and ended up with 37 gallons of chex mix!! It was nice spending the day with my sisters and Mom. Can not wait to enjoy it all!!!

Thanksgiving 2009

We spent Thanksgiving with Corey's family and had a great time talking and playing with all the cousins. Mom Barnes made a fabulous feast that we enjoyed for lunch and dinner. It was a nice relaxing afternoon.

Random Pictures

Here are a few pictures of our life over the last three weeks. We had managed to stay healthy until last weekend when Ethan started his coughing and I developed a sore throat. We both visited the doctor today and hopefully will be back in the swing of life by the end of the week. Our Christmas celebrations begin this weekend with Corey's extended family on Saturday and I hope we are well by then. Ethan is now saying Ella's name and is very sweet towards her. She is smiling lots and baby talking.
